How do I restore my account from backup?

Login to cPanel and click on JetBackup 5.

In the JetBackup interface, select what you are going to restore. A full backup will restore your entire hosting account. Home directory will let you restore individual files. Databases will let you restore an individual database.

To restore a single file, click on home directory. Then click on a backup date to select it. Note: you will see the dates for which we have a daily backup of your account. A backup schedule marked as "manually" is one that you made. NodeSpace only retains the last 14 days of backups. We cannot restore files beyond 14 days.

Click on Change Files Selection to open the backup folder and select individual files or folders to restore.

Click on the name of a folder to open it, click the box next to the folder to restore the entire folder. Click the box next to files to select files for restore. When you have selected the files you want to restore, click on select files. Then click on Restore.

You will need to confirm your restore operation. Select Merge backup data with live account data if you don't want to overwrite or replace any files already in your account. For example, if you're restoring a folder that already exists but the data may have changed (for example, the WordPress uploads folder), you would want to select this so you don't lose any data that has already been added.

Click on restore selected items and your request will be placed in queue. It can take 1-5 minutes for the restore process to happen.
